In the 2015 RAPL main event, Group B  has 2013 and 2014 champions ShaheenAsmayee, 2012 champions ToofanHarirod, two time runners-up SimorghAlborz, and De MaiwandAtalan, who is considered one of the strongest teams this season. The nickname for this group is already out "The Death Group ". 

There is no doubt that all of the eight teams will exhibit better performances this season compared to the previous years. Some of the teams considered weaker in the past such as De AbasinSape, De SpingharBazan, Mawjhai Amu and De MaiwandAtalan have been able to attract top notch players from other teams in their new squads. They have also started their training sessions well in advance to better prepare for the main event. Group A already has last year's runner-up for the title OqabanHindukosh and with the other three teams appearing stronger; this group will make a strong pack to watch for in the group stage of the competition.

In the opening match on Thursday, August 27 from A Group, OqabanHindukosh will face De AbasinSape and in the second match on Friday, August 28 from Group B, ShaheenAsmayee will face SimorghAlborz. All of the group stage matches will start at 4:00 pm this season.

The matches will be exclusively broadcast live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM, and Arakozai FM.  It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague).
