De Abasin Sape will take on Oqaban Hindukosh today, August 28th in AFF Stadium at 4:00 PM.

Oqaban is the runners-up of last year's final and are one of the main contenders for the prestigious 2015 RAPL trophy. De Abasin Sape had its second winless season last year and struggled to play against favorites Shaheen Asmayee, Mawjhai Amu, and Oqaban Hindukosh last season.

De Abasin recorded its only win in the last three years during the 2013 group play against De Maiwand Atalan. However, Nazhmuddin Tolibov's side appears more confident this season with 12 fresh players in its squad.

Aimal Gariwal, Oqaban's goalie and captain from last year, joined his hometown team De Abasin this season. He is considered one of best RAPL goalkeepers and expected to help De Abasin perfrom better in this competition.

Oqaban has been one of the top performers during last three RAPL seasons. They won all three games and defeated Shaheen in the group play last year. However, they were defeated in the final by Shaheen 3-1. Shaheen's performance was weak  in the opening match and that is a good news for Oqaban for this season.

De Abasin needs to challenge Oqaban in its first match, if  it wants to be taken seriously by other teams in the competition.

All of the group stage matches will start at 4:00 pm this season. The matches will broadcast live on TOLO TV,Lemar TV ,Arman FM ,and Arakozai FM.  It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague
