Shaheen Asmayee representing central zone and Kabul, also known as Kabul golden wears, has come a long way to assure its ticket in the 5^th season of Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL). The team believed to have remarkable victories in the previous RAPL. Standing as champion for two seasons of RAPL and claiming the second position in the 4^rd season make the team outstanding. Previously, 11 teams have competed in Kabul league which only 26 players had the chance of joining Shaheen Asmayee.

After one month training conducting by Afghan assistant coach and two weeks of training supervised by FIFA Tajik coaches, Shaheen finalized its 21 squad members for RAPL 2016.

Keeping the pride and legacy; the team has implemented significant changes in its squad members for the 5^th season of RAPL; estimated changes are nearly 75% comparing to last year. Most of the players are newly joined the team.

Shaheen Asmayee will compete in Group A. In addition to this team, De Maiwand Atalan, De Abasin Sape, and Toofan Harirod are in the same group stage. Shaheen Asmayee will have an impressive pitch with Toofan Harirod on August 26, 2016. The teams are considered to be on top of their games this season and equipped with indomitable squads.

Amrudin Sharifi, Samiullah Mohammadi, and Sayed Mohammad Hashimi will be the well-known faces of Shaheen Asmayee in RAPL 2016 main event.

Like Shaheen Asmayee, Toofan Harirod has its own goal sets for championship this season. The enthusiasm drove the team to invite elite players of other RAPL teams. Anwar Akbari, Fardin Hakimi, and Mustafa Afshar are the prominent players of the team in this season.
