Mawjhai Amu will have a face- off with Simorgh Alborz later today, September 07, 2016, at Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) stadium. This is the seventh game of Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) 2016, happing in the third week.

Simorgh Alborz tied their first game 2-2 with De Spinghar Bazan with a decent performance on the pitch. Fayaz Azizi, Simorgh Alborz’s striker scored the opening goal against Bazan. Additionally, the team has the honor of standing as champions of RAPL Nowroz tournament 2014.

“We are optimistic to be the champions of RAPL 2016. Having all the stars of 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th seasons in the squad is the unique characteristic of Simorgh in this season,” said Aman Faizi, Simorgh’s team manager. “Confidently, we will win the clash today,” he added.

On the other hand, Mawjhai Amu surprised its fans with their win against Oqaban Hindukosh in the 1^st week of season 5^th. Lal Pacha Tarakhil put the team ahead with his astonishing goal. “Today’s pitch is a must win for us. The victory will put our team in the semi-fianl,” said Mawjhai Amu’s captain, Hedayatullah Ahmaid.” The team has evaluated all its first game weaknesses and enough preparations have been taken to fill the gaps,” the captain stated.
