Kandahar to Stand Against Kabul

15 Sep, 2016

Another exhilarating game is on the way at the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) today, September 15, 2016 at 3:30 pm. The Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) 2016 draw puts Kabul, Shaheen Asmayee, against Kandahar, De Maiwand Atalan, in its 10th game.

De Maiwand Atalan has performed well in the fifth season so far, securing two wins. The team has claimed to etch their name on RAPL 2016 cup. Atalan accumulated six points winning over De Abasin Sape and Toofan Harirod. Another triumph will undoubtedly put it in the semi-final.

Shaheen Asmayee, the RAPL 2015 runner-up, has one loss against Toofan Harirod and one triumph over De Abasin Sape in this season.” The team has conducted comprehensive exercises after playing against Abasin,” said Mujtaba Faiza, Asmayee’s assistant coach.” A victory is essential for us to be in the semi-final roster. Luckily, we have Hashemi, Samandari, and Omid back to the squad,” he added. These three players left the squad to play for Afghanistan national team in a match with Lebanon.

The matches will be broadcast live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM, and Arakozai FM.  It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague). More information about RAPL 2016 and teams can be found on (www.afghanpremierleague.com).
