Today, August 30, 2019, De Maiwand Atalan, the semifinalist of the past couple of seasons of APL, is playing against their strong rival, Simorgh Alborz. This is going to be the 2nd battle for both teams in the league so far. De Maiwand Atalan has drew their first match against Mawjhai Amu 1-1, and Simorgh Alborz was by Toofan Harirod in a hard battle by 1 goal.

The match begins at 6:00 pm in the stadium of Afghanistan Football Federation.

According to the draw show, both teams are placed in the (A) group of the tournament along with Toofan Harirod and Mawjhai Amu.

Considering the toughness of group (A), this is a must-win match for both teams to qualify for the next round. Simorgh Alborz has lost their first match against Toofan Harirod and the 2nd lost will eliminate them, while De Maiwand Atalan also has only 1 point so far, drawing their first match against Mawjhai Amu.

As per the statement of Abdulhaq “Faizi”, head coach of Simorgh Alborz, they will face De Maiwand Atalan with a different strategy and lineup composition, and the players will do their best to win this important match.

This match will be broadcasted LIVE on TOLO TV and Lemar TV and simulcast on Arman FM, Arakozia.
