Amu and Sape faceoff for the last semifinals spot

18 Sep, 2015

Today is another exciting RAPL show down, the winner of which will advance to the 2015 semi finals. This time the battle is between Group A’s Mawjhai Amu and De Abasin Sape.

Last year both teams failed to take home a single win, each of them  has a chance to smash their losing streak today, so the stakes are as high as they can be.

Each team comes into this match with one lose and one tie record and depending upon how they perform on the field today each of them has a fighting chance to join the semi finals.

De Abasin Sape has a considerable challenge in front of them. In order for the team to advance to the semi finals, they must completely shut down Amu’s offense and defense and win by an almost perfect 2 goal margin. There will be a lot of pressure on their high flying forward Nawaz Zazai.

Mawjhai Amu has a better chance to advance in today’s game. To reach the semi finals they need to win simply by a one goal margin over De Abasin Sape. The key to success for Mawjhai Amu is to play a conservative defensive game, maintaining close watch over their penalty area while their forward Masoud Qarizada attempts to take advantage of scoring opportunities when they present themselves.

Don’t miss out on this exciting game! All of the group stage matches start at 3:30 PM this season. All matches are broadcast live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM and Arakozai FM.
